A used Fanuc welding robot from Rice Automation is serviced before it is sold. We check the arm, replace batteries, grease the joints, and run the robot under power. You can watch it run at Rice Automation before it leaves. Freight is quoted. The robot ships nationwide.
Robotic welding, start to finish
A welding robot is the arm that moves the torch. Robotic welding is that arm, a power source, a wire feeder, and the cell around them. Rice Automation sells a new or refurbished FANUC arm and builds the cell around it in the shop.
The shop checks the arm, replaces batteries, greases the joints, and runs the robot under power before it ships. You can stand next to a cell on a weekday and watch it weld. Freight is quoted, and the robot ships nationwide.

The cell is built here. Frames and fixtures are made in the shop, which has a fiber laser, a 5-axis waterjet, and milling and turning centers.
MIG and TIG welding robots
The ARC Mate arms on this site are arc welding robots. A 6 kg (13 lb) 100iB and a 10 kg (22 lb) 100iC are the compact arms for smaller MIG and TIG fixtures. The 20 kg (44 lb) 120iC is the arm Rice builds the most cells around. Longer arms, including the 100iC/8L and the 120iC/12L, reach over a deeper fixture or a positioner.
The welder is part of the package when the unit has one. Lincoln Power Wave, Miller, and Fronius power sources, and a ServoTorch, are welders and torches paired with these Fanuc robots. Call and we will tell you the welder, wire feeder, and torch on the robot you are looking at. The robot and the welder talk over DeviceNet or Ethernet.
Payload and reach are on each model page. A long-reach arm is the one to look at when the fixture is deep or the robot has to reach over a positioner. The M-710iC/20L is the arc-welding robot past the ARC Mate line, at 20 kg (44 lb) and 3,110 mm (122.4 in), on the R-30iA.
