About Rice Automation
For more than ten years Rice Automation has built robotic welding cells and sold refurbished Fanuc welding robots, from first-time buyers to plants that already run robots.
The Rice Automation advantage
Rice Automation has spent more than ten years helping manufacturers, from small shops to automotive OEMs, move onto a robot. The cells use a new or refurbished FANUC robot. The package is turnkey, and reusing a sound robot keeps that machine in service.

Why automate
Automation holds weld quality steady, raises output, and lets a shop keep up when orders grow. It cuts repeat mistakes and downtime, and a cell can run more hours than a manual booth.
It also changes the work the crew does. The robot takes the repetitive, high-precision welds, so people can spend time on the jobs that need them. When hiring is tight or the line has to move faster, the cell is what keeps the schedule.
A plain account of the process is on what robotic welding is.

Why FANUC
FANUC is the robot line these cells are built around. The arms are precise, they stay in service, and the controller family covers the welding work this shop sees. Parts and support are available, which is why a new or refurbished FANUC is a practical robot to put in a cell.

See it running
Several welding robots run production here Monday through Friday. Schedule a tour and watch a cell weld before you buy. The shop is at 166 Hwy V, Harviell, MO 63945.

In-house fabrication
Cell frames and fixtures are made here, with a fiber laser, a 5-axis waterjet, and milling and turning centers. That is how a cell can be built around your part instead of the other way around.

What we sell
Refurbished and used Fanuc ARC Mate welding robots, turnkey robotic welding cells, positioners, headstocks, and robot tracks. New robots and cells are available too. Call if the model you want is not listed.
