Rice Automation
Used welding robots from Rice Automation are Fanuc ARC Mate arms, sorted by controller generation from R-J3iB to R-30iB Plus. Each model page lists payload, reach, repeatability, and controller. Refurbished robots are serviced and run under power at Rice Automation before they ship. The robot picker is below. Robotic welding is how these arms are used.
The R-J3iB runs the ARC Mate 100iB, 120iB, and 120iB/10L. It is the generation for a compact 6 kg (13 lb) arm or a heavier 20 kg (44 lb) welding arm, with the teach pendant of that cabinet. Parts and pendant support are still a regular request. Rice Automation refurbishes these robots and sells them for MIG and TIG cells.
The R-30iA is the controller behind the ARC Mate 100iC, 100iC/6L, 120iC, and 120iC/10L. A cabinet labeled R-J3iC is the same generation. The 120iC ships in the full R-30iA cabinet or the smaller R-30iA Mate, with the iPendant. Shops pick this generation for the 20 kg (44 lb) 120iC and the compact 100iC. Rice Automation refurbishes these arms and supports the controller, pendant, and common weld packages.
The R-30iA Mate is the compact cabinet for the ARC Mate 100iC, 100iC/6L, and 120iC. It uses the same teach pendant as the full R-30iA cabinet and takes less floor space beside the cell. Those ARC Mate models are listed in the R-30iA section. Rice Automation refurbishes Mate-cabinet robots and confirms the cabinet before it ships.
The R-30iB generation covers the ARC Mate 100iC/12, 100iC/7L, 100iC/8L, and 120iC/12L. These are the higher-payload and long-reach iC arms, on the R-30iB or the compact R-30iB Mate, with the iPendant. Buyers choose them for 12 kg (26 lb) at 1,420 mm (55.9 in), a long 100iC arm, or 12 kg (26 lb) at 2,009 mm (79.1 in). Rice Automation refurbishes these robots and sells them with the controller that is on the arm. The standard 100iC, 100iC/6L, 120iC, and 120iC/10L are in the R-30iA section.
The R-30iB Mate is the compact cabinet for the ARC Mate 100iC/12, 100iC/7L, 100iC/8L, and 120iC/12L. It uses the iPendant and sits in less space than a full R-30iB cabinet. Those arms are listed in the R-30iB section. The later Mate Plus cabinet pairs with the R-30iB Plus models. Rice Automation refurbishes Mate-cabinet robots and will tell you which cabinet is on the arm.
ARC Mate 100iC/12 · ARC Mate 100iC/7L · ARC Mate 100iC/8L · ARC Mate 120iC/12L
The R-30iB Plus is the controller generation for the ARC Mate 100iD and 120iD welding robots, and for the long-arm 50iD/7L. These arms use the R-30iB Plus or the compact Mate Plus cabinet, with the iPendant Touch. Buyers choose them for a hollow wrist, faster motion, and tighter repeatability than the iC robots. Rice Automation refurbishes them, supports the pendant, and sells them ready for a welding cell.

Look at the model, the controller and pendant, the year, and the hours when we have them. Look at the welder, wire feeder, and torch when that package is on the robot. Condition is refurbished, new, as-is, or parts. A refurbished robot is inspected, the batteries are replaced, the joints are greased, and the arm is re-mastered as needed, then run under power. An as-is robot is labeled as-is.
If the price is not on the listing, call (877) 855-7020.

Shops buy a refurbished Fanuc welding robot because the arm still has work left in it and the price is a fraction of new. Every used robot we sell is tested. Components are checked and the arm is serviced before it goes out.
A new robot is available too. The why a refurbished welding robot page is the short comparison. Call (877) 855-7020 for the current price on either one.

Call (877) 855-7020 for the current price. What changes the price of a used welding robot is the controller, the hours, and the welder package on that robot.
Rice Automation builds robotic welding cells around a used welding robot: single zone, dual zone, turntable, ferris wheel, and custom. The cell is run in the shop before it ships. We also buy complete cells. The sell page is where to tell us the model, controller, and welder.

ARC Mate 100iB and 120iB robots run on the R-J3iB. The 100iC, 100iC/6L, 120iC, and 120iC/10L run on the R-30iA, and the 120iC ships in the full cabinet or the R-30iA Mate. The 100iC/12, 100iC/7L, 100iC/8L, and 120iC/12L run on the R-30iB. The 100iD and 120iD family, and the 50iD/7L, run on the R-30iB Plus or the Mate Plus cabinet. Call and we will confirm the cabinet on the robot you are looking at.

Is there a warranty? Call (877) 855-7020 and ask about the robot you are looking at.
Do you ship? Yes. Freight is quoted, and the robot ships nationwide.
Can I see it run? Yes. Call and set a time. The shop runs production Monday through Friday at 166 Hwy V, Harviell, MO 63945.
Do you buy robots? Yes. Tell us the model, controller, and welder.
Will the controller match the cell I have? The model page names the controller family. Call and we will confirm the cabinet on the robot in front of us.
These pages stay up for robots that are not ARC Mate arc-welding models. The M-20iA is the handling arm that shares a mechanical unit with the ARC Mate 120iC. Collaborative CRX robots are listed when the catalog has them.
If you have an ARC Mate, or another Fanuc welding robot, to sell, tell us the model, controller, and welder. We buy used robots and we can also look for the generation you want if it is not listed.
