What moves the price
What changes the price of a used welding robot is the controller, the hours, and the welder package on that robot. An R-J3iB arm and an R-30iB Plus arm are not the same purchase, even when the payload looks similar. Hours are listed when Rice Automation has them. If the hours are not on the listing, call and ask.
The welder is part of the package when the unit has one. Lincoln Power Wave, Miller, and Fronius power sources show up on these Fanuc robots, along with the wire feeder and torch that are on that arm. A robot with a welder, feeder, and torch is priced as that package. A bare arm is a different quote. The listing names what is included.
Condition is refurbished, new, as-is, or parts. A refurbished robot is inspected, the batteries are replaced, the joints are greased, and the arm is re-mastered as needed, then run under power. Freight from Harviell
Freight is quoted. The sale is FOB Harviell, Missouri, at 166 Hwy V. Rice Automation will quote the crate and the truck, and you can pick the robot up at the shop. A listed robot is run under power before it ships. Call and the shop will tell you the timing.
A cell built around the robot is a separate quote. Robotic welding cells include the guarding, the table or positioner, and the welder mounted on the frame. This page does not price those cells. It prices the robot.
